A Gypsy's Tale - new by Julie Sandilands

I am originally from Cheshire where I lived until 1997. After completing a B.Ed. (hons) in Business and Information Technology, I spent three years in Botswana teaching in a large, government secondary school in the capital, Gaborone. After a brief spell working in New Zealand, I moved to Scotland in March 2000 and now live in rural Fife, Scotland, with my son, Duncan.

It has been fifteen months since I first put pen to paper and the story of Finn was born. Like many people, I have always aspired to writing a book; however, that was certainly not my intention when I started to jot down ‘Finn’s Tale’.  I had exhausted the children’s books on the bookshelf and my son, then aged nine was keen to hear something new. Gradually the story grew from a few short chapters to the tale it is today.

I have also produced The Perils Of Skinny Dipping, an adult novel.

The feedback I have received for both books has been very positive and encouraged me to persevere with my writing career.

Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself, and it’s never too late to aspire to your dreams. This is my dream - thank you for sharing it.
